The Documented Life Challenge for this week was to share a random act of kindness that you have been involved in.
Some of the participants were not comfortable with this particular challenge, believing that a RAK is private and to do so would be "tooting one's own horn".
I understand that.
I chose to share about the little smocked burial gowns and bonnets made for babies born too soon.
You may remember the posts from last year.
My intention was to educate the group about the need for these things, in hopes that maybe one or more would look into it and perhaps make things for Threads of Love.
About the mechanics of the page:
This entire page flips open to the right for journaling underneath.
The bottom photo is attached to another part that flips down for more space to write.
This is where I explained the challenge and the photos.
It was an opportunity to use my glitter centered flowers.
It is probably more scrapbook-y than the neon colored mixed media of previous weeks, but I was wanting it to reflect the serious nature of the content.
Hope you enjoy a nice Mother's Day.
