(repurposed)

Hello again!
Nice to see you.

* * *

This old sewing machine base has been in the garage for a few years.
Actually, the entire cabinet was used in the garden with flowers in the drawers.
The weather took a toll on the old cabinet until we had just the base remaining.
A good cleaning + some spray paint + a top made by the local Amish = end table
!!!

Totally works for me.

Winter is back here in the northlands!
We should have a foot of snow by tomorrow morning.

  1. What a terrific idea for your old sewing machine base. I have one too and the top is mostly shot. I may consider doing the same thing. Mind if I copy your idea?

  3. This is gorgeous! I am going to keep a look out for one of these at a garage sale this summer. My son-in-law is a furniture refinisher and I know he could fix one up for me.

  4. I have a treadle table as well,it has served many purposes over the 35+ years we've had it. Ours has a butcher block top on it and is presently in my craft room with my paper cutters on it, a great solid surface when I need to hammer or set an eyelet.
